Annual MSP 501 Identifies Industry’s Best-in-Class Businesses Growing Via Recurring Revenue and Innovation

JUNE 19, 2023: Spera Partners has been named as one of the world’s premier managed service providers in the prestigious 2023 Channel Futures MSP 501 rankings.

For the past 17 years, managed service providers around the globe have submitted applications for inclusion on this prestigious and definitive listing. The Channel Futures MSP 501 survey examines organizational performance based on annual sales, recurring revenue, profit margins, revenue mix, growth, innovation, and supported technologies.

MSPs that qualify for the list must pass a rigorous review conducted by the research team and editors of Channel Futures. It ranks applicants using a unique methodology that weighs financial performance according to long-term health and viability, commitment to recurring revenue and operational efficiency.

Channel Futures is pleased to name Spera Partners to the 2023 MSP 501.

“We are thrilled to be listed among our MSP colleagues as best-in industry,” said Brian Hess, Founder & President, Spera Partners. “It is an  honor to be recognized for our technical talent, growth-oriented business model, and strategic partnerships. I credit our team and foundational core values of trust, expertise, and dedication.”

This year’s list is one of the most competitive in the survey’s history. Winners will be recognized on the Channel Futures website and honored during a special ceremony at the Channel Futures Leadership Summit, Oct. 30-Nov. 2, in Miami, Florida.

Since its inception, the MSP 501 has evolved from a competitive ranking into a vibrant group of innovators focused on high levels of customer satisfaction at small, medium, and large organizations, in public and private sectors. Many of their services and technology offerings focus on customer needs in the areas of cloud, security, collaboration, and hybrid workforces.

“The 2023 Channel Futures MSP 501 winners persevered through challenging times to become the highest-performing and most innovative IT providers in the industry today,” said Jeff O’Heir, Channel Futures senior news editor and MSP 501 project manager. “The MSP 501 ranking doesn’t award MSPs solely on their size and revenue. It acknowledges the business acumen, best practices, and trusted advice they deliver to customers every day. They deserve the honor.”

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the 2023 winners, and gratitude to the thousands of MSPs that have contributed to the continuing growth and success of the managed services sector,” said Kelly Danziger, general manager of Informa Tech Channels. “These providers are most certainly driving a new wave of innovation in the industry and are demonstrating a commitment to moving th e MSP and entire channel forward.”

TEQ Guys, Inc. Revamps Brand - Changes Name to Spera Partners
Managed Service Provider unveils new name and logo

TEQ Guys, Inc., a full-service provider of technology services for businesses and schools in Western PA, has announced today that it will begin operating under a new name, Spera Partners, effective immediately. This rebranding strategy reflects both the evolution of the company as well as its vision for the future. Along with this change, a newly redesigned company logo and website have been unveiled.

The name, Spera, comes from a form of the Latin word for trust which is the foundation of the company’s client partnerships. It also represents a higher level of excellence and professionalism with an emphasis on innovation and alignment. The company’s branding has been further defined by its new Mission Statement: To help clients advance their business by partnering with them to proactively manage their technology and provide an exceptional, results-driven experience. This highlights how Spera Partners comes alongside their clients to identify and solve their underlying technical issues, improve their business process, and empower them to achieve their full potential.

Part of the company’s recent growth comes from the acquisition of DMS Computer Services, another managed service provider from the Pittsburgh area. DMS brings 30-years of experience, providing technology solutions and support to small and medium sized businesses. DMS founder, David Schweitzer, will be joining the executive team to focus on project management and client services.

“We are thrilled to be welcoming DMS to our team and it could not come at a better time,” said Brian Hess, President of Spera Partners. “The launch of our new brand was an intentional, strategic shift from our former name to a name that elevates us from the break-fix mentally which misrepresents all that we have to offer. Our new name and look point to who we really are….trusted partners who empower our clients to focus on their business, knowing that their systems are in good hands.”

This is the company’s 3rd acquisition since its inception in 1996 by Hess. In December 2020, Spera Partners received its MSP Verify Program Certification from the MSP Alliance. The MSPV provides quality assurance and a stamp of reliability as it benchmarks and verifies the quality of a cloud and/or managed services company.

Spera Partners specializes in creating innovative technology processes for business executives and educational administrators through exceptional services and proactive solutions that empower their clients to achieve their full potential.
